What I have learned in Management Information System
Twitter: One of My best Social Networking it is the fastest, simplest way to stay close to the world and everything you are interesting on. you got the news before publishing it in the newspaper or TV.
Follow your Fans and the Royal Family and you can communicate with them and get their latest news quicker.What I liked most is that tweets are small bursts of information since you have only 140 words to say in one tweet.
Blogger: I like using blog it is a useful social networking tool where I can publish to the web directly. It is easy to use, post anything you like, and also you can design it with your own style.
Delicious: It is a social bookmarking website; you can easily save your favorite sites and share it with your friends...
Tag!!! I have shared a shopping links so I have tagged it with shopping, shoes, cloths etc.. So whenever people will do search on shopping or any words that I have tagged my link will appear with many others who have tagged shopping... Cool.
Google Chrome: It is a cool web browser I prefer to use it because it makes life much easier. I can change the theme, I love that I can put my twitter or anything I want in the banner.
Gmail: It is a free email service with more capacity and more secure than Hotmail. I started using it from now on.
Google Calendar: It is a great application to organize your time...
Since I have a lots of things on my mind (College, Work & My wedding) and I'm starting to get older and older I forgets a lot... so if I forget that I have exam I may fail in the exam and if I forget my Best Friend’s Birthday I will be dead. So Google Calendar is a life saver.
Facebook: It is a very popular social networking service and you will find Facebook application on every Smart phone...
I don’t know why I'm not so into it but it is very useful and fun, you can meet new people find your childhood friends, you can do groups and market your business.. and you can play etc...
Picasa: It is an image organizer you can group pictures, edit, make a move and it is a photo sharing website. I liked it but I prefer to use another program such as instaframe because they have an application on the smartphones.
Google Docs: It is a web that has office suite. As we are student in DWC and most of our project is a group work that helps us a lot. Our Group has a shared word documents and excel sheet so each student does her work and also we can check each other’s work and put some comments on it. Also we have shared it with our teacher so she can monitor our work.
Google Reader: I like to use it because it keeps a track of the news that I like to have a latest update on it.
Google Search: It is very deep but you need to learn some keywords to make your life easier. I like to use it when I need to know a definition of a new word I write define then the word. It is easy and useful.
Google Site: you can create a site for free and in few minutes. I liked it because it is easy to use and I am planning to do a site for my new business.
Google Earth: It is a 3D earth Viewer you can search for places and see the place in the current time. It helped me a lot before I went to Singapore I looked in Google earth to know the place more and I search about best places to visit.
Google Finance: If you want to see the financial situation of any corporation this tool will be very useful for you. Since I am studying accounting we do a lot of numbers and we compare organizations financially so Google Finance helped me a lot in my major.
Drop-box: I like it but I don't use it much it is a useful online service. I can easily save my important work and then I can enter it any ware but it require only Wi-Fi. so it is like an online Drive
Google News: It is a news aggregation. The unique thing about this news is you can personalize it as you like e.g. If I don't want any sport news to appear I can do it easily remove it. I don’t like to watch news a lot but in Google News I can choose which kind of news that I prefer to see.
